Walthamstow has been the birthplace of some notary people such as Harry Kane, Adam Woodyatt, the magnificent East17 and William Morris who was born there in 1834. He was an English textile designer as we all know but also a poet, artist. writer and socialist activist within the British arts and crafts movement.

He was a major influence in how textiles are produced today and his and his companies designs are still available to buy from collections "William Morris one" through to "William Morris Five", the collections have been modified for current tastes by Ben Pentreath and since the copyright for his designs has expired there are now several imitations available.

We have all the currently available designs for you to view in our West Runton premises.
